Meet Dr. Agren
Dr. Christy Agren was born and raised on the gulf coast of Florida. For as long as she can remember,
she wanted to be a doctor. She began her studies at the University of Florida where she earned a
Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Immediately after graduation, she packed her bags and headed to
Iowa to complete her chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic.
Upon graduation Dr. Agren moved to Alabama and opened Chiropractic Life Center shortly after. She
has raised 2 wonderful children, Stone and Lorna, on the gulf coast and adores living in Fairhope.
In her practice, Dr. Agren treats many types of patients, young and old. Her specialty is treating
women and children. Nothing gives her more joy than caring for a small baby and seeing the health
of not only the baby, but the whole family, improve. Some disorders she has encountered in her
practice include headaches, reflux, colic, asthma, stomach disorders, bedwetting, pregnancy
complications, infertility and all musculoskeletal complaints.
Dr. Agren has a simple philosophy used in her practice.....find any interference to the nervous
system, fix it, and leave it alone. Due to this, she is blessed daily with seeing the health of her
patients improve. It is not uncommon to see three generations of the same family sitting in the
waiting room to be adjusted together. Chiropratic Life Center truly is a family practice working to
improve the health of the Gulf Coast, one spine at a time.
In her effort to provide the best care possible to her patients, Dr. Agren is a life-long learner. She is a
Diplomate in Chiropractic Pediatrics, and she participates in many seminars on health and wellness.
She is also an active member of the Mobile Chiropractic Society, the International Chiropractic
Association, the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association, raises money annually for
Alzheimer's research, and volunteers with the Special Olympics.
In addition to her practice, Dr. Agren loves to spend time enjoying the Gulf Coast with her family.
They enjoy the beach, boating and spending quiet time together.
